Urgent Care/After Hours Care

If your child requires non-emergency medical care after hours, or on weekends or holidays, and our office is not open, we suggest the following clinics:

PrimeCare (2511 Salem Church Rd. and 9763 Courthouse Rd.) Phone 786-1200 for both.

Spotsylvania EmergiCenter (992 Bragg Rd. and 10671 Courthouse Rd.)

Medic 1 (10514 Wakeman Dr.and 3429 Jeff Davis Hwy.)

Minute Clinic (various CVS locations).

We have had some peculiar advice and very concerning treatments given patients at NextCare, and do not recommend them because of that.  They seem to be over-testing for some minor illnesses, and some patients have been advised to consider treatments for their children which are not FDA approved and not generally regarded as effective. Some patients' charges have been huge, and I believe unnecessary.  I would thus not recommend NextCare.
